Product Information
As my jewellery is almost entirely handmade it varies from piece to piece, all stones I cut myself with the exception of some faceted gemstones. I generally only make small editions of jewellery and within those many variations occur, ie colour, shape and texture of the materials used. This is the way I prefer to work as then the purchaser really is buying something unique.

Jewellery care instructions
Great care and love is taken in handcrafting my jewellery, which is why it is so important to look after the pieces carefully to ensure your continued wear and enjoyment. The following are recommendations to ensure you get the most out of your jewellery.
When to remove your jewellery;
While playing sports, gardening, swimming/showering and cleaning. Remove rings before getting into cold environments; fingers can shrink with the cold making it very easy for them to slip off your fingers without notice!
To protect your jewellery from exposure to direct sunlight, chemicals, perfumes, moisturisers, soaps and oils, esp with bone and antler jewellery.
Before swimming in chlorinated pools as the chlorine can damage and discolour metals and slowly erode the polish and finish of gemstones. Also remove silver jewellery before entering a natural hot spring as the sulfur present in it can tarnish the metal.
Being careful when wearing jewellery with delicate fabrics, make sure there is minimal contact or no possibility of materials being snagged.
How to care for your jewellery;
Silver and gold jewellery with gem settings are best cleaned by a professional cleaner; for diy, use warm soapy water and a small soft bristled brush to clean any build-up of oil and dirt underneath the stone. Make sure you dry thoroughly. Use a professional jewellers cloth to remove tarnish and revive the polish.
Hand-cut stone can be cleaned and dried in the same manner, if the stone is looking dull or dry rub it with a natural cooking oil.
Store your jewellery in a fabric lined case with dividers or a pouch with fabric between pieces to prevent them from scratching each other, also adding a piece of anti-tarnish cloth to minimize the effects of oxidisation on metals.
Avoid scratching, hitting and knocking jewellery on hard/sharp/rough surfaces.
Any questions on care feel free to ask me or visit your local in-house jeweller.
Ring Sizing
When purchasing a ring it is very important to get the right size. Although it is possible to adjust the size in most cases, it is best to avoid that and better to get it right first time.
The best way to go about this is to pop in to a jeweller and ask if you could get your finger sized. Making sure you are certain of which finger you would like to wear the ring on and also the width of the ring band you are looking at purchasing. There is quite a big difference in size between a 3mm wide band and a 10mm wide band for example, the wider the band the bigger the ring needs to be.
