‘Thought Forms’ 2019 Exhibition at Kina Gallery, New Plymouth

In this exhibition my interest was the ideas of connection, the creative process and ‘thoughts becoming things’. Our thoughts become shaped by our experiences and experiences shaped by our thoughts. Every person and experience is infused into whatever it is you create. The things you think and feel whilst creating are transferred into the piece, and in turn objects and materials communicate back for the creator to interpret and inform the direction of the piece. Both an unconscious and conscious act, a connection of all parts. Those thoughts transferred sub-consciously through the work to the person who purchases the creation. Connecting it all in an energetic spirit.
